The gates open at 18h00 and movie screenings start at 19h00. Please note that these times are subject to change and will be communicated on our website and/or social media channels. We recommend that you arrive early so that you can reserve your seats and can also enjoy our lounge, food and drinks onsite.
You can buy tickets directly online through this website, or via our ticket partners.For online bookings on the Cinesouslesetoiles.mu website, simply select 'Book Now' on your preferred screening from the Movie Schedule, select the ticket category and the number of tickets before proceeding to checkout. You can also visit our ticketing partner websites, Otayo.com and Deals.mu to purchase your ticket online. Please note that for all online tickets you can pay through Credit Card, MCB Juice or a Bank Transfer.If a screening is sold out, subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media so that you'll be the first to know about any further ticket releases to sold-out shows, as well as future events you can attend instead.

Once you have received a Ciné Sous Les Étoiles Gift Voucher, all you have to do is contact us by email or phone, and let us know which voucher you have and the movie screening you would like to attend. Gift Vouchers must be redeemed before the actual screenings of the movie- please do not present a Gift Voucher at the point of entry.
In the unfortunate event of you losing or misplacing your ticket, please contact the ticketing partner where you purchased your ticket. We can then, trace your booking and re-issue your ticket.
Movies are screened in both English and French (excluding Bollywood movies). If a movie is screened in English, then French subtitles will be available. If the movie has been dubbed into French or is a French movie, then English subtitles will be available. Bollywood movies will retain its original language and English subtitles will be available. The screening language of each movie will be displayed on the schedule.
Like most outdoor events, we screen whether rain or shine and do not provide refunds in the event of a no-show, if it rains. Please check the weather forecast in advance and be prepared for the Mauritian weather. Screenings will only be cancelled if there is persistent heavy rain or dangerous, unsafe weather.
If a screening is cancelled due to bad weather, we will communicate this via email, website and/or social media channels. The screening will then be postponed to a new date and you can choose to either watch the same movie on a different date or you can select another screening. No refunds will be given.
If you have not received any official communication from Ciné Sous Les Étoiles then you can assume that the screening is going ahead. If a screening is cancelled due to bad weather, we will communicate this to you by email and SMS. If you are still not sure if a screening is cancelled or not, then please call us on +230 466 9999. Please note that the weather conditions you experience at home may differ from conditions on-site. If you decide not to attend without receiving notice from Ciné Sous Les Étoiles, then your ticket will be void and no refunds will be given.

These rules are in place for the safety and comfort of everyone and it is the guests' responsibility to follow these guidelines. Upon arrival in your vehicle and a ticket check, you will be directed to your parking spot. The movie will be screened on a giant screen and sound will come straight to the FM radio in your car. Simply turn on your car radio, select FM and tune into the frequency provided. There is a dedicated team on site to assist you if you run into any issues.
Yes, tickets are needed per person (not per vehicle). At the entrance, each person in the vehicle will have their ticket scanned. If any persons in the vehicle does not have a valid ticket, then they will not be permitted entry and this may result in the entire vehicle being denied access.
Each vehicle requires a minimum of 2 adults. Up to 3 additional passengers can join (everyone must have their own seat within the vehicle).
Larger cars and vans are allowed, but may be asked to park towards the sides or rear so that they don't obstruct the view of others. Trucks, buses and other very large vehicles will unfortunately not be permitted.
Unfortunately, the Drive-in Cinema cannot accommodate guests without cars. But, you can visit the Open Air Cinema at Ebène Recreational Park for an outdoor movie experience.
Parking Spaces are available on a first-come-first-serve basis and will be assigned upon arrival depending on the vehicle size.
Exceptions apply to VIP ticket-holders who will be allocated premium parking spaces and large vehicles which may be parked further back or on the sides to not obstruct views of other vehicles.
Our HUGE screen is raised and will ensure that all vehicles have a good view. All larger vehicles will be parked at the back or on the sides so that it doesn't obstruct the view of anyone. Our attendants will advise drivers on the best position when parking to ensure good sight lines.
If you arrive late, you will be allowed into the screening but you may be parked on the sides or towards the back.
Once you’ve entered the venue, you cannot leave except for an emergency. In case of an emergency, please let one of the attendants know and they can assist you.
No, once you leave the screening, you will not be allowed back in.
Whilst in your vehicle, or within your parking space you do not need to wear a mask or face coverings.
If you need to leave your vehicle for any reason, please wear your mask and adhere to the standard sanitary protocols in public.
Viewing outside of your vehicle is not permitted and we do not recommend this for safety reasons.
We ask that people stay in their vehicles as much as possible to adhere to sanitary protocols. You can leave your vehicle to visit the toilet facilities and get food.
ABSOLUTELY, Ciné Sous Les Étoiles welcomes people of all ages, though children should remain under the supervision of their parents.

Yes, a Snack Pack (Meal Box) for 2 people will be received upon arrival. Available in Veg and Non-Veg options, each box contains a Sandwich, Pâté (pie), Hakien (Mauritian-style Spring Roll) and Wantan.
If you’re still feeling peckish or need a drink, then head to the on-site vendors to purchase drinks and snacks. Otherwise you can always bring your own.
You can bring your own snacks and non-alcoholic drinks to the Drive-in Cinema! Just remember to take your litter with you, and please note that you may not bring alcohol or glass on-site.

There are four ticket categories, Bring your Own Seat, Classic, Premium and VIP Nest. Ciné Sous Les Étoiles offers seating for Classic, Premium and VIP Nest categories. Classic tickets offer a comfortable reclining deck chair, Premium tickets offer a luxurious single-seater sofa, whilst the VIP Nest tickets offer an Ultra Sofa Bed, ideal for lounging in maximum comfort. The Bring your Own Seat category only grants you access to the venue with no seating provided- you will have to bring along your own seating.
If you opt for the Bring your Own Seat category, you can bring along your own seating. Just make sure that you'll be comfortable for the evening and that you are seated in the designated seating area- you are not allowed to set up your seats in other areas. If your seat will obstruct the views of others, you will be asked to sit towards the back of the venue.
You can bring along anything that you ll be comfortable sitting on for the evening including: picnic rugs, pillows, lawn chairs, camping chairs or beanbags. If your seat is too high and/or will block the views of others, then you will be asked to sit towards the back of the venue. You are also restricted to only sitting within the designated seating area and cannot set up your seats in other areas.

Since the cinema is outdoors, you will be exposed to the weather elements so dress accordingly. It can get quite chilly, so bring along a cardigan, jacket, sweater, blanket or anything to keep you warm.

Yes, you may take as many photos as you like at the venue and at our dedicated photo booth. Share all your photos and selfies with us on Instagram @cinesouslesetoiles. Just remember to not record any of the movies (that's not allowed).
We may translate these Terms into other languages for your convenience. Nevertheless, the English version governs your relationship with Ciné Sous Les Étoiles, and any inconsistencies among the different versions will be resolved in favor of the English version.
You may access many areas of the website and its functionality without registering your details with us. However, you must Register in order to make a booking or a purchase . It is to be noted that each user acknowledge that by registration or providing any personal details via the Ciné Sous Les Étoiles website, the user also warrants that they are of at least 18 years of age.

If a ticket is used in breach of these conditions, it may be cancelled without refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.

Please refer to the description for the price of each specific Product or Package or Service. Tickets and Packages once sold are not exchangeable and non-refundable. All tickets (vouchers and packages), once sold are final, and no changes to the conditions or inclusions is allowed.
These will be clearly specified at the time of booking and on the confirmation email. Unless detailed otherwise in the specification of the ticket/product/service, these prices do not include supplements, transportation, drinks, meal upgrades, and do not include any other service, which is not detailed in the item specification.

Ciné Sous Les Étoiles' website uses the MIGS MasterCard secure online payment system operated by the Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB). Payment can be made with a valid credit card. If you do not want to use our payment system or do not own a credit card, you can always contact us directly to discuss alternative payment methods. MasterCard guarantees a high-level of protection when providing your credit card number. Information regarding the latter is not accessible to third parties and is not communicated to us and is only kept on the secure database of MasterCard. The order confirmed by the client will be considered valid only when approved by MasterCard. After placing your order, your credit card shall automatically be debited with the full amount due. Once the payment is cleared, you will receive an automated confirmation email of your order. If MasterCard does not approve the transaction, the order will be automatically cancelled and the client will be informed by email. It is also possible to pay by bank transfer directly to Ciné Sous Les Étoiles'bank account or by MCB Juice or have the payment done directly in cash or debit card at the registered office of Ciné Sous Les Étoiles. Under no circumstances will Ciné Sous Les Étoiles be liable for any kind of commission that your bank might charge you for payment paid to Ciné Sous Les Étoiles.
Once you have made the payment, a Booking confirmation e-mail will be sent immediately after you "Place Order" for which it is important for us to have an accurate email address. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail within the next 15 Minutes of placing the Order, you should contact our Customer Services department at info@cinema.mu
Our Booking Confirmation e-mail is proof of a valid booking and will contain relevant information about the booking and particulars of themovie screening times and other services concerned. Please read and check carefully all the information contained in your Booking Confirmation e-mail to ensure that it conforms to your reservation made. If there are any changes to the details, we request that you inform us immediately by email, phone or by contacting our Customer Service department.
We offer our customers the option to order a Gift Voucher for a movie screening of their choice. Please note that the Gift Voucher is only valid for use for the relevant service category for which it was purchased. The open voucher can only be used for a movie screening at Ciné Sous Les Étoiles for which it has been booked as detailed on the order confirmation and on the voucher itself.
A voucher must be redeemed by contacting the head office of Ciné Sous Les Étoiles by phone or email and once the preferred screening is confirmed, the gift voucher will be exchanged for a ticket. Gift Vouchers must be redeemed before the actual screenings of the movie and vouchers presented at the point of entry will not be accepted as a valid form of admission. All Gift Voucher entries are subject to availability. The Gift Voucher cannot be exchanged for any cash, either in whole or part of the voucher value nor can it be exchanged for drinks, meals or other gift vouchers.
In case the customer fails in using, the Gift Voucher within a period of 3 months since the day of issue, the Gift Voucher will no longer be of any use or value and it will be void. In case of a void Gift Voucher, the customer will not be entitled to receive any refund nor compensation against the payment made to purchase the voucher. This is why we strongly encourage our customers not to wait for the last moment in order to use the open voucher.

In the unlikely event that you have any reason to complain or in case you experience any problems, this must be brought to the attention ofthe nearest steward so that every reasonable effort can be made to resolve the issue prior to, or during the event you are attending. Complaints are very difficult to resolve after the event and some complaints cannot be dealt with quickly.
If you are still dissatisfied, you must write to us within 14 days of the event/ experience with full details of your complaint. We will do our best to resolve the issue. Please note that if you fail to follow this simple complaints procedure, Ciné Sous Les Étoiles will not be held liable.
Ciné Sous Les Étoiles cannot be held liable if a client's personal belongings are damaged or stolen during his or her visit to the Ciné Sous Les Étoiles venue or at a privately hired venue. It follows; therefore, that Ciné Sous Les Étoiles is not obliged to compensate its clients for damages in this regard. You must keep personal belongings with you at all times. Each client has a personal responsibility to take due care and attention by keeping close watch on his or her personal belongings and to refrain from bringing valuables. Vehicle parking is at owners risk and we shall accept no responsibility for the loss of, or damage to vehicles.
In case of any cancellation for which a refund is to be provided to the customer Ciné Sous Les Étoiles is not liable to refund the credit card processing fees nor any other bank fees associated to the purchase made by the customer. The customer will only receive the applicable refund calculated as per the Ciné Sous Les Étoiles refund policy, after deducting the fees detailed hereof.
Ciné Sous Les Étoiles provides a platform to purchase outdoor cinema and movie screenings, group bookings, private hire and range of other related products and services. We have no liability of any kind whatsoever to you or your group, or dependents for any death, personal injury, loss, consequential loss or damage of any kind, you or your group, or your dependents may suffer unless caused by our own negligence.
Ciné Sous Les Étoiles, Directors, Employees, service providers and partners, in no event are liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the venue, as well as the website, the content, statements and other information contained therein, the products or services accessible or available through the site or these terms of use.
By using Ciné Sous Les Étoiles, you agree to indemnify us and its employees against any liability, although we may at our discretion agree to assist in the resolution of problems, and take our own action against any supplier and third party who is in breach of its obligations.
By purchasing a ticket, you acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions. As a customer of Ciné Sous Les Étoiles, you are also responsible for you and your party's/group actions (including an accompanying minor) whereby you are expected to respect your environment and other people around you. A valid ticket is required for entry to Ciné Sous Les Étoiles. Entry may be refused if tickets are damaged or defaced in any way or are not purchased from one of Ciné Sous Les Étoiles' authorised points of sale. Ciné Sous Les Étoiles reserves the right to add, withdraw, reschedule or substitute events and / or vary advertised programs, prices, venues, seating arrangements and audience capacity. We reserve the right to add our own age restrictions and recommendations to any production; parents should check each production prior to booking. Age restrictions and recommendations for children may apply due to the nature and suitability of the show. Whilst age recommendations and restrictions may be placed on some productions, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian in advance of purchase to make their own judgement as to the suitability of a show for their own child.
No alcohol, drugs, weapons, glass containers, specified prohibited items or lasers may be taken into the venue. Sound recording equipment, video, movie and mobile phone cameras must not be used during the film. You are responsible for all property that you bring to the event and Ciné Sous Les Étoiles accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to this property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere within the venue except in the designated lounge area. Pets of any kind are not permitted within the venue.
Ciné Sous Les Étoiles reserves the right to terminate your activity and to eject any person(s) who is intoxicated and/or causing a disturbance to other patrons under threat of vandalism, violence or any other behavior seen as inappropriate by them. You must not behave in a way which may cause distress or annoyance to others or which may create the risk of danger or damage to any property. Ciné Sous Les Étoiles has the right to refuse access to evict any person(s) who violate the sanitary protocols and government regulations. Such person(s) will not be entitled to a refund or exchange of tickets. Patrons may not damage any property belonging to Ciné Sous Les Étoiles or Mont Choisy Le Mall. In case of damages or loss caused by you or any member of your group, you will be held responsible and be liable for full payment for these damages.
Ciné Sous Les Étoiles shall not be liable for any loss of enjoyment or wasted expenditure. Personal arrangement including travel, parking, sustenance and accommodation relating to the event that have been arranged by you are at your own risk..
For some events, Ciné Sous Les Étoiles acts as a service provider for Third Party Venues. In such cases Ciné Sous Les Étoiles only provides Ticketing Services and acts as an on-site operator for Cinema Equipment. Ciné Sous Les Étoiles does not provide and cannot be linked to any services, including but not limited to venue operation, parking management, on-site vendors, prices, crowd management and rescheduling. Third Party Venues are not owned and operated by Ciné Sous Les Étoiles and the Terms & Conditions for events held there are at the discretion of the venue owner. Ciné Sous Les Étoiles cannot be held liable for any claims, damages, losses, expenses, costs or liabilities whatsoever.
Any claim or dispute will always be dealt with the best attention and care, as the person that takes the pain of submitting his claim is presumed to do so in good faith. In case of litigation, the client will at first deal with the company for an amicable solution of the problem. If a solution cannot be found, the Mauritian legal system will be the sole competent legal system.
This Agreement or Terms and Conditions is constructed in accordance with and governed by the laws of Mauritius. Any litigation related to the commercial relationship existing between Cinema.mu and the client are submitted to the sole competence of the Mauritian jurisdictions.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Ciné Sous Les Étoiles is devoted to bringing you as much flexibility as possible while adhering to all recommendations from local authorities and public health experts.In the event the Government introduces stricter restrictions, suspensions, quarantines or lockdown measures the following policies will be in effect:
i) Screening Dates affected by Government Restrictions (ie. lockdown period)
Should the screening date fall in the lockdown period or is affected by government restrictions, the screening will be postponed to a new date and your ticket will automatically be valid for the new screening date which you may choose to attend.
Shall you wish to cancel your ticket for this new screening date, then please note that tickets are non-refundable, but upon request and on a case to case basis, Ciné Sous Les Étoiles may convert the amount paid into a credit to be used only on Ciné Sous Les Étoiles for booking other outdoor movie screenings at Ciné Sous Les Étoiles. This can be used once the restrictions have been lifted, and is valid for 1 year.
ii) Screening Dates that are not affected by Government Restrictions
If the screening date does not fall on dates affected by government restrictions or health and safety protocols (ie. lockdown), then the date will still be valid and the screening will go ahead.
Shall you wish to cancel your ticket, then please note that tickets are non-refundable.
Ciné Sous Les Étoiles Credit Note:
Tickets which have been converted to a Credit (due to postponed events) are valid for 1 year. The credit will be made available for your use once the restrictions have been lifted and can only be used on the Ciné Sous Les Étoiles platform.
