Ciné Sous Les Étoiles has 3 venues.

Please check the movie schedule for confirmed dates. We screen all of our movies after sunset, so times may vary during the year. To keep up to date with Ciné Sous Les Étoiles simply Like us on Facebook, Follow us on Instagram and subscribe to our Newsletter.

The gates open at 18h00 and movie screenings start at 19h00. Please note that these times are subject to change and will be communicated on our website and/or social media channels.
We recommend that you arrive early so that you can reserve your seats and can also enjoy our lounge, food and drinks onsite.

You can buy tickets directly online through this website, or via our ticket partners.

For online bookings on the Cinesouslesetoiles.mu website, simply select 'Book Now' on your preferred screening from the Movie Schedule, select the ticket category and the number of tickets before proceeding to checkout. You can also visit our ticketing partner websites, Otayo.com and Deals.mu to purchase your ticket online. Please note that for all online tickets you can pay through Credit Card, MCB Juice or a Bank Transfer.

If a screening is sold out, subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on social media so that you'll be the first to know about any further ticket releases to sold-out shows, as well as future events you can attend instead.

Once you have received a Ciné Sous Les Étoiles Gift Voucher, all you have to do is contact us by email or phone, and let us know which voucher you have and the movie screening you would like to attend. Gift Vouchers must be redeemed before the actual screenings of the movie- please do not present a Gift Voucher at the point of entry.

In the unfortunate event of you losing or misplacing your ticket, please contact the ticketing partner where you purchased your ticket. We can then, trace your booking and re-issue your ticket.

Movies are screened in both English and French (excluding Bollywood movies). If a movie is screened in English, then French subtitles will be available. If the movie has been dubbed into French or is a French movie, then English subtitles will be available. Bollywood movies will retain its original language and English subtitles will be available.
The screening language of each movie will be displayed on the schedule.

Like most outdoor events, we screen whether rain or shine and do not provide refunds in the event of a no-show, if it rains.
Please check the weather forecast in advance and be prepared for the Mauritian weather. Screenings will only be cancelled if there is persistent heavy rain or dangerous, unsafe weather.

If a screening is cancelled due to bad weather, we will communicate this via email, website and/or social media channels. The screening will then be postponed to a new date and you can choose to either watch the same movie on a different date or you can select another screening. No refunds will be given.

If you have not received any official communication from Ciné Sous Les Étoiles then you can assume that the screening is going ahead.
If a screening is cancelled due to bad weather, we will communicate this to you by email and SMS. If you are still not sure if a screening is cancelled or not, then please call us on +230 466 9999.
Please note that the weather conditions you experience at home may differ from conditions on-site. If you decide not to attend without receiving notice from Ciné Sous Les Étoiles, then your ticket will be void and no refunds will be given.

Ciné Sous Les Étoiles and guests of Ciné Sous Les Étoiles should adhere to the Sanitary Protocols enforced by the government and regulatory bodies. These rules are in place for the safety and comfort of everyone and it is the guests' responsibility to follow these guidelines. We appreciate your assistance in making sure these are adhered to and trust that you will behave in a safe and sensible manner.

DRIVE IN CINEMA

Upon arrival in your vehicle and a ticket check, you will be directed to your parking spot. The movie will be screened on a giant screen and sound will come straight to the FM radio in your car. Simply turn on your car radio, select FM and tune into the frequency provided. There is a dedicated team on site to assist you if you run into any issues.

Yes, tickets are needed per person (not per vehicle). At the entrance, each person in the vehicle will have their ticket scanned. If any persons in the vehicle does not have a valid ticket, then they will not be permitted entry and this may result in the entire vehicle being denied access.

Each vehicle requires a minimum of 2 adults. Up to 3 additional passengers can join (everyone must have their own seat within the vehicle).

Larger cars and vans are allowed, but may be asked to park towards the sides or rear so that they don't obstruct the view of others. Trucks, buses and other very large vehicles will unfortunately not be permitted.

Unfortunately, the Drive-in Cinema cannot accommodate guests without cars. But, you can visit the Open Air Cinema at Ebène Recreational Park for an outdoor movie experience.

Parking Spaces are available on a first-come-first-serve basis and will be assigned upon arrival depending on the vehicle size.

Exceptions apply to VIP ticket-holders who will be allocated premium parking spaces and large vehicles which may be parked further back or on the sides to not obstruct views of other vehicles.

Our HUGE screen is raised and will ensure that all vehicles have a good view. All larger vehicles will be parked at the back or on the sides so that it doesn't obstruct the view of anyone. Our attendants will advise drivers on the best position when parking to ensure good sight lines.

If you arrive late, you will be allowed into the screening but you may be parked on the sides or towards the back.

Once you’ve entered the venue, you cannot leave except for an emergency. In case of an emergency, please let one of the attendants know and they can assist you.

No, once you leave the screening, you will not be allowed back in.

Whilst in your vehicle, or within your parking space you do not need to wear a mask or face coverings.

If you need to leave your vehicle for any reason, please wear your mask and adhere to the standard sanitary protocols in public.

Viewing outside of your vehicle is not permitted and we do not recommend this for safety reasons.

We ask that people stay in their vehicles as much as possible to adhere to sanitary protocols. You can leave your vehicle to visit the toilet facilities and get food.

ABSOLUTELY, Ciné Sous Les Étoiles welcomes people of all ages, though children should remain under the supervision of their parents.

Please also pay attention to some of our movies which may have age restrictions or parental guidance. Children will not be permitted to movies restricted for mature audiences.

  • Vehicle Type: Very large vehicles like buses or trucks are not allowed. Vehicles exceeding passenger capacity will also not be allowed.
  • Radio: You will need an FM radio to hear the movie's sound. If your car doesn't have FM stations or doesn't have a radio or you want to turn off your vehicle, you can bring your own portable radio and tune into the designated station.
  • Engine: We recommend turning off your engine once you've parked. You can start your vehicle once or twice during the film to ensure your battery remains charged.
  • Lights: Please turn off your lights so that you don't disturb other guests' viewing experience. If you can't turn off your lights when the radio is on, please turn off your car and bring your own FM radio.
  • Honking: Please do not sound your horn for any reason. If you require assistance from our onsite team please flash your hazard lights.

Yes, you're more than welcome to open your windows and open any convertible roofs once you're parked.

Smoking is at the driver’s discretion.

Restrooms are available on-site. Please ensure to wear your mask and adhere to sanitary protocols when exiting your vehicle and visiting the restroom.

Yes, a Snack Pack (Meal Box) for 2 people will be received upon arrival. Available in Veg and Non-Veg options, each box contains a Sandwich, Pâté (pie), Hakien (Mauritian-style Spring Roll) and Wantan.

If you’re still feeling peckish or need a drink, then head to the on-site vendors to purchase drinks and snacks. Otherwise, you can always bring your own.

You are allowed to bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks. Fear not, as we have an impressive array of food and drinks available for purchase at the venue.

OPEN AIR CINEMA

Please wear your mask and adhere to the standard sanitary protocols in public.

There are four ticket categories, Bring your Own Seat, Classic, Premium and VIP Nest.
Ciné Sous Les Étoiles offers seating for Classic, Premium and VIP Nest categories. Classic tickets offer a comfortable reclining deck chair, Premium tickets offer a luxurious single-seater sofa, whilst the VIP Nest tickets offer an Ultra Sofa Bed, ideal for lounging in maximum comfort.
The Bring your Own Seat category only grants you access to the venue with no seating provided- you will have to bring along your own seating.

If you opt for the Bring your Own Seat category, you can bring along your own seating. Just make sure that you'll be comfortable for the evening and that you are seated in the designated seating area- you are not allowed to set up your seats in other areas. If your seat will obstruct the views of others, you will be asked to sit towards the back of the venue.

You can bring along anything that you�ll be comfortable sitting on for the evening including: picnic rugs, pillows, lawn chairs, camping chairs or beanbags. If your seat is too high and/or will block the views of others, then you will be asked to sit towards the back of the venue.
You are also restricted to only sitting within the designated seating area and cannot set up your seats in other areas.

No. Seating is not pre-allocated and is available on a first-come-first-serve basis. We advise you to arrive early so that you can pick your favourite seat before the screening.

If you arrive late, you will be allowed into the screening.

No, once you leave the screening, you will not be allowed back in.

Since the cinema is outdoors, you will be exposed to the weather elements so dress accordingly. It can get quite chilly, so bring along a cardigan, jacket, sweater, blanket or anything to keep you warm.

A tempting variety of snacks, light meals, and soft drinks is available from our on-site vendor, subject to availability. Alternatively, you can bring your own refreshments, with the note that no alcoholic beverages are allowed.

Restrooms are available on-site. Please ensure to wear your mask and adhere to sanitary protocols when visiting the restroom.

Yes, but only in designated areas. You are not allowed to smoke in the seating area and should dispose of your cigarettes appropriately.

Parking is available at Eb�ne Recreational Park.

Yes, you may take as many photos as you like at the venue and at our dedicated photo booth. Share all your photos and selfies with us on Instagram @cinesouslesetoiles. Just remember to not record any of the movies (that's not allowed).
